I saw Dr. Ebert several times. He kept telling me to do the same things I've been doing the last 9 years, to no avail. I finally asked (as my MD friend recommended) if ablation or nerve conduction study could be done. He said I was not a good candidate. I requested a panel meeting. He did 99% of the talking. He talked over the (all female) panel, took them into the hallway, and discussed my case (adjacent the waiting room). They weren't allowed to talk to me until after, when an occupational therapists and a psychologist (both, I've already seen for YEARS) told me to do 3 things. 1) attend health classes, 2) use a tens unit (I already have for 9 years), and 3 change depression meds from my current (effective) med, to one that would aggravate my preexisting conditions (all in my chart). The advocate referred me to Zablocki VA. So... I DID need a nerve conduction study and ablation, the cervical nerve branches are compressed. Per in my MRI, in my file, that Ebert obviously did not read.
