Dr. Schrapps and his staff are very professional and polite. He was very informative and patient during appointments. His staff responded promptly whenever I had questions or concerns. Jennifer(Dietitian) is sweet and extremely knowledgeable about health and wellness. She was also very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. J Schrapps for all your bariatric needs! He’s literally helped me change my life in a positive, healthy way. I’m forever grateful. :)

I’ve been an employee at this office for 8+ years now, and have also been a patient now going on 3 years. We have an excellent work environment and Dr. Schrapps has been an excellent surgeon with my healthcare. If you are wanting to stay local, this is definitely the place to come to. You not only become a patient, you also become part of our family.

Dr Schrapps preformed a gastric sleeve on me, my stomach was cut incorrectly causing me a lot of severe medical conditions, I’m four years into having other surgeries since the sleeve, now having to do a gastric bypass. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have the gastric sleeve done by Dr. Schrapps!

Dr. Schrapps is a kind, compassionate, and caring doctor. He's very thorough and honest in explaining all aspects of his procedure and expected outcome. In addition his staff his friendly and efficient.

My psychiatrist recommended Dr. Schrapps as I was at 50% BMI. It takes about 5 months to get all the stuff in order, the dietary visits, insurance authorization, consulations, pre surgery weight loss, etc. before you can have the surgery Dr. Schrapps and his staff are very friendly and efficient! Everything was explained to me in terms that I could understand quite easily. I am at 3 weeks post op now and am feeling better than I have in years. GOOD PEOPLE!

Great Doctor

Decided to have WLS!!! He was amazing. Honest, friendly and professional.

I have had previous intestinal surgery with lots of scar tissue internally and large scars externally. Dr Schrapps was humble enough and honest enough to say it was too dangerous to continue after several attempts at laparoscopy. He is a great great man with a great staff!!!
