Dr. Jerry Anderson Jr, MD

Dr Anderson was fantastic with my surgery recently! He was recommended by my friend who works with him in the hospital. I was hesitant to go to a male surgeon but she said he was the best surgeon. He made me completely comfortable and was completely supportive of my choice for permanent contraception. He answered all my questions completely, he was completely validating when I had an issue with an RN in the clinic, and the surgery went great! very professional, kind and funny, so I didn’t feel anxious. I am a nurse practitioner myself and felt all of my care was excellent. The scheduling team was also put prompt and responsive and was able to get me in very quickly while my insurance was still good. I would absolutely recommend him and his team!

Dr. Anderson is a fantastic physician. He truly listens to my concerns and always provides compassionate care.

Dr. Anderson was extremely considerate and detailed with his explanations. He made sure the inherently uncomfortable procedure was as easy and comfortable as possible under the circumstances. He was very aware of signs of physical pain. He also took extra time to explain alternatives and did not make me feel rushed by any means although I'm sure he was busy and it was the end of the day.

I ended up having an emergency c section after lots of laboring and Dr. Anderson, who I'd never met, was incredible throughout the whole process. He respected my birth plan and really did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable with what was happening. He also worked so so well with both the nurses and my midwife team, which isn't always something that happens. I was so happy with him, that I ended up doing my 6 week with him and plan on continuing care for a second child with him and the Virginia Mason midwife team.

Listens to concerns and approaches them with understanding and thoroughness, I felt very well-taken care of with Dr Anderson.

Dr. Anderson is very knowledgeable & personable . He always answers questions confidently and never leaves me wondering nor worried. When leaving my appointment he always makes it a point to be sure he has answered all my questions. I also recently had surgery with Dr. Anderson and was concered with one of my incisions. he had me come in right away. He assured me everything was fine. I was in and out of his office within 15 minutes.

My first appointment with Dr. Anderson was today and I am so happy to have found him! I thought he was very personable and I felt very comfortable discussing my concerns with him. He was very thorough, extremely sincere, and I felt like he really took the time to answer my questions and discuss new options for issues that I have been dealing with for a very long time. I highly recommend Dr. Anderson to anyone who is looking for a great doctor!!

Office staff and facilities were wonderful and face to face interactions with Dr Anderson were great. 2 stars as he was very difficult to get on the phone for important questions and his nurse was short and dismissive in email exchanges. Soured the entire experience.
