I am so glad Dr Gibbs placed my Port. It was obvious that he had done this procedure a thousand times. His bedside manner was warming and his surgical proficiency was outstanding. The whole process from when I arrived until I was discharged was 3 hours. When the sutures healed you could not even see where I was stitched. I am very pleased with the entire process.

I had a portacath placed and was sent home without medication. When I called to let them know that I am in extreme pain they told me that they do not prescribed pain meds. This was my 2nd port. The first was not painful just felt sore. This on was a 9 out of 10 on the pain scale. To not offer any medication after you cut and implant a medical device is far beyond unacceptable.
