Not board certified!
Rouse is NOT board certified or even board eligible, so how good could he be? Terrible attitude! Should have retired decades ago.

Patient advocate
This doctor saved my father’s life. He has now been a patient with Dr. Rouse for several years. Dr. Rouse cuts to the chase and is a brilliant physician. If you are looking for someone to talk with for an hour then no, he respects the wait time of his other patients. But if you are looking for a great doctor who can help you get well, genuinely cares about your progress, will call home to see how you are doing and answer your call at 3 am to help you get the care you need, then you will love and appreciate this doctor. I can attest that every hospital staff person who has ever worked with him would probably affirm what a fine doctor he is. And my father has had MANY doctors. We have friends who are patients and would recommend him as well. His only focus is helping his patients get better. Highly recommend.

This ‘doctor’ was a new appointment. There is a definite reason he was the only Urologist I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours. My experience was horrible. Even though I have experienced 2 ER visits in 12 days with acute urinary retention with a total excruciating painful wait time of 20 hours for a catheter. Resulting quite possibly to further damage to my stage 3 kidney failure & the near for dialysis. Nevertheless he showed zero compassion & when I tried to answer his questions he was annoyed, impatient & erasable with his responses. Furthermore, he misinterpreted what I was trying to communicate & when I politely & respectfully tried to ameliorate his obvious confusion threaten to abruptly end our session. This physician is clearly way past the ‘burn -out’ stage & should have retired years ago. I would rate him zero stars if given that option. On a scale of 1-10 his callous, mean spirted, arrogant, disrespectful demeanor IMO ranks as a minus zero.

Worst bedside manner I've ever encountered in the medical field.. I felt like he was annoyed with my being there and annoyed by any question I asked. And whenever I would try to respond to his questions, he would cut me off.
