Dr. Jerry Walters II, MD

I had surgery with Dr Walters. He performed the surgery without ordering any additional pictures. I asked him about this numerous times but he said the year old MRI was all he needed. He was to correct damages to my cervical spinal cord caused by a car wreck. He went through the front to only repair one layer. He never made it to my spine. He caused an esophageal fistula, which he claimed at first was preexisting, and left me with two abscesses in my neck, one of which swelled up to the size of a baseball, I was rehopitalized. My left vocal cord is frozen, as is the left side of my tongue and soft pallet Left side of face is now drooping. New neurosurgeon started that he never should have went in the front as soon as he saw me the first time. And I am now having a 5 layer lamendectomy from the back. In addition I will have to have corrective surgery to fix what he messed up. So if you want a surgeon that does not do the right then and then lies about it, then he is your guy. Not mine!

I would love to rate him for his bedside manner or say that he actually helped with my pain and medical issues, however I cannot. As a new patient I have been rescheduled 4 times. Waited months to see him and today they attempted to reschedule me again! He has no consideration of anyone's time as I have taken time off for these visits and no empathy for medical needs. Rescheduling due to emergencies happen but to have a new patient rescheduled multiple times is inconsiderate and downright ridiculous! I will be reporting to my insurance provider.

We can't say enough about the care and skill of Dr. Jerry Walters! He performed surgery on my mother that should give her some quality of life back. He is a caring, communicative doctor who took the time to explain things to me and listen to my concerns and follow up questions. I am so so grateful that Dr. Meron Ghebrehiwot Abraha took time to read up on mom's medical history and next relayed the information to Dr. Walters, who consulted with her other doctors and found a surgical solution for mom. Forever grateful to these doctors and highly recommend their services!
