Your heart is in good hands
Dr Thompson operated on my dad, he was friendly, competent and attentive. Answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend him. Surgery took less time than anticipated and his pain was well controlled, at the preop visit they explained everything to expect and allowed us to be at the bedside as much as possible before and after the procedure. Nursing staff was awesome!

Successful heart Surgery, winning team.
I am a 79 year old who never had a heart issue , or so I thought. This past, August I was rushed to the hospital with crushing chest pain. Fortunately for me Dr Thompson and his team took me on as a patient. Dr Thompson explained the procedure ,answered my questions and he and his team performed my surgery. If not for this man's skills and leadership I am to sure I would be writing this review. My wife and I thank this man and his team for all they have done for me.

Alive today because of Dr Thompson
I was an otherwise healthy 41 year old man that had never had a heart or cardiovascular issue On December 16 2022 I was rushed to the hospital with an ascending aortic dissection. I was blessed to have Dr Thompson, his team there ready to help. They moved very quickly and thank God they did. I had a 7 and a half hour surgery and am alive because the outstanding effort of Dr and his incredible team. His nurses are truly incredible. They never gave up on me. I can't tell you enough how kind how attentive he was with me and my wife. I've had several orthopedic surgeries in my life and have never had a surgeon that was as gracious and caring as him. My family and I will forever be grateful for every bonus day we get together. Thank you Dr Thompson.

Dr. Jess Thompson performed my CABG x 3 (triple bypass open heart surgery) on a semi emergency basis. The outcome so far is better than I could have expected and I feel Dr. T was extremely competent as a surgeon. Unfortunately talking with Dr. T both before and after the surgery was not pleasant and not helpful as he didn't seem to listen or care about what or why I was asking some questions. It was evident from his hospital notes that he also didn't listen to some of the details I was giving him. Due to covid and the fact that I didn't have any post surgery issues I was not allowed a post op appointment with Dr. T. After making other inquiries about my procedure I received an unexpected call from a somewhat upset Dr. T. His answers to my concerns were appreciated but fell short of addressing fully all of my concerns.
