Dr. Jessamy Boyd, MD

Dr Boyd is one of the most personable and caring physicians I have encountered. She always asks about me and what is going on with friends and family as well. The saddest part for me is that I am no longer requiring her expertise. I shall miss her smile and kindness

She listens and answers all questions thoroughly.

She took time to explain concerns I had to me, she listened!

Dr Boyd discusses treatments, answers questions, explains, & if she does not have an answer, says she does not know. She is extremely knowledgeable about what she does, and has an excellent support staff.

She is caring, compassionate, flexible. Interested in my getting what i wanted from the treatment. Could. Ot say enough good about her.

Help was always right around the corner if there were any questions or concerns. The two radiology technicians, Joe and Zac, that I was lucky enough to have assigned to me went above and beyond in their care. Personable and knowledgeable they put me right at ease from the beginning to the end of my treatments. They are quite an asset to their profession!

The wonderful people at the cancer center was a true caring experience and very relaxing which to me was so important since so many are going thru such a difficult time. Dr Boyd was so easy to talk to and she listened. And there is nothing better than a doctor that knows how to be fun and catches on to your personality right away which she did. I now have 3 great-looking long-sleeve, high neck bathing suits that I wouldn't have had otherwise if she hadn't brought it up. I will be in the beach in FL at the end of the week and I'm doing great and the terible rash is now slowly fading. Yea!

Not a good experience. Was met with being told that it looked as though I wouldn't need radiation & was there to talk about right breast & a benign cyst. I'd just had cancer surgery in my left breast. I was very upset. In a follow up appointment to ask how this happened & other questions, the doctor told me point blank that she wouldn't answer my questions & escorted me from the office. Very emotionally upsetting & humiliating experiences. I seldom 'lose my cool', but these experiences rendered me anxiety ridden. To date, she has refused to give me complete medical records even though she told me to refer to 2 medical notes that were not included. Very upsetting.

Dr. Boyd is a great doctor. She communicates very well even in tough situations. She has excellent follow through when she says she will do something.

Dr Boyd is an excellent radiology oncologist. Not only is she highly knowledgeable, but also very kind and friendly.

Dr. Boyd immediately put me at ease and thought my treatment was always available to answer any and all my questions. She was also willing to answer all the questions of my 16 year old daughter and made sure she understood everything. I never once felt rushed or like my concern wasn’t valid. Cancer sucks - being treated by a doctor with such care and concern makes it so much easier to live with.

My experience with Dr Boyd has been awesome. She is enthusiastic, communicative- responds quickly to all questions, she has been very collaborative with the Denton Oncology team. She is competent and confident. She manages her support team the same way and it shows in the quality of their contributions. They obviously care for. She loves her profession and delivers.
