Dr. Jesse Kaplan, MD

My follow-up with Dr. Kaplan was scheduled for a Tuesday at 10 am. I ended up waiting an hour and ten minutes to see the doctor for a total of seven minutes; I work during the day and felt my time was not respected at all. What's the point of appointments if you're going to behind by an hour?The office double books, and if they make any kind of mistake it will take you forever to correct it. I was told one surgery date and marked that on my calendar, but later in the day I looked on MyChart for something else and noticed a different date than what I was told. I have been attempting to get resolution on this for over a week and just can't get a hold of anyone.Whenever you call the office you are told you will be called back, so you can't ever just reach someone directly. They give you the direct number of the surgery scheduler but this person is not reachable anyway, and she won't call you back either. I found this doctor experience very disappointing. I do not recommend.

I had an excellent experience in this my first visit. He is very knowledgeable, professional and communicates easily. Easy to relate to, he has a warm personality with a good sense of humor. . It is obvious that he likes what he does.

Dr. Kaplan was knowledgeable, professional and treated me the same as he would treat his own mom. I'm glad he's going to be my doctor.

parking needs to improve. More parking spaces, especially handicapped spaces need to be available.

My Doctors were courteous, answered my questions and seemed very knowledgeable and competent.

The doctor was not friendly at all. He also didn't seem to really care about me as a person. Just another number. He could use better bedside manner. Thank you.

I thought it was a wasted visit. I waited for 30 minutes to see the Dr for 5 minutes. He didn't tell me anything I didn't already know from my DPT, and her assessment at the completion of physical therapy was far more thorough.

Dr. Kaplan is just nice , friendly, listens, explains well...just a good Doctor with a pleasant demeanor!! Thank you for have him there...

Conveniently located. The building is very clean and peaceful. I was in pain. The staff was most helpful and showed concern.

Was running 1 hour behind due to equipment failure ?

The staff and tech who applied and removed the cast were very efficient at what they do. The doctor will need to better explain the diagnosis and expected care plan. He handed resources to read which were helpful but he needs to better explain the situation and expectations instead of just handing out reading material. This is a different experience we've had compared to other UCI providers we've seen in the past.
