if I could give a 0 I would
treated my grandfather with IV antibiotics for 6 weeks for 1 positive blood culture that was probably contaminated, the other was negative. He lied and said both cultures were positive which they weren’t when I reviewed the records. No source of infection ever found. Very arrogant, defensive human, lacks any capacity to listen or hold a collaborative discussion with his patients or family members. Run away as fast as you can from this guy.

Doesn’t believe that Lyme Disease is Real
I went to see him in May of 2021 and I was suffering badly from Lyme Disease which I tested positive for a month earlier. He told me that Lyme Disease is NOT REAL and so I could not have it. He yelled at me while explaining this to me. I asked to see a doctor there who did believe that Lyme Disease was real and he said in a very loud voice that none of the infectious disease doctors believe that it exists. It seemed like he was speaking so loudly so that his fellow doctors and office staff could hear him. It was an awful experience for me at a time when I was suffering badly. I wrote him a respectful letter afterwards letting know how disappointed I was with the visit but he never replied. Horrible experience for me.

Rude and dismissive
Dr. Serrins is an infectious disease specialist at Reading Hospital. This was the first time I saw him. He was rude and dismissive. He told me that a positive outcome I'd had with a medication on three different occasions was just a coincidence. When I told him I'm so scared of getting sepsis again and almost dying, he suggested I take medication for anxiety or see a therapist (which I do and have done).
