Dr. Jessica Arasmith, MD

Dr Arasmith was responsible for my child's care. She spent all of her time focused on herself and how right she was causing her to ignore every concern I had. Her arrogance ultimately cost my child his life. She ignored me, my child and the entire physical assessment available to her. She did not consult appropriate colleagues. She asked to be notified if certain symptoms appeared. I notified her and she ignored me. For two days I begged and pleaded for her to hear my concerns. When a different staff finally listened to me they discovered that my child had a fever (as I had been reporting) and less than 2 hours later he was in the ICU with septic shock. He never came home. Dr Arasmith caused immeasurable suffering to my child. I hope this review can help others avoid the same fate.

Dr. Arasmith is the best! She listened to my concerns, not once did I feel like she was disregarding my concerns like several other doctors had done. Instead she did an exam and decided to run additional tests and as a result of her determination to find the cause of the issue at hand instead of just treating symptoms, we were able to discover a tumor in early stages before it did irreparable damage. I am so incredibly gratefully to have had her during my son's stay in the hospital.

When she is the intensivist at the children’s hospital I always feel better about my son being admitted. She is wonderful and takes into account his whole health, not Justine symptom.
