Dr. Jessica Berger-Weiss, MD

Dr B-W is just the impressive doctor for whom I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a patient! She is caring, concerned, genuinely interested in your health and wellbeing and incredibly knowledgeable with the highest of integrity and ethics (that’s important to me)! That is why I have trusted her with my life for about 20 years now. She’s the best.

It was my first visit as her patient. I received the routine preventative care including a Pap smear. I did not come in for anything else. Dr. Berger-Weiss suggested an IUD as a contraceptive. I had concerns I would have out of pocket costs with my insurance. She assured me she would have the office check my insurance policy so that I would not have to pay any additional costs in getting this IUD. I got the IUD. It was incredibly painful, and would remain severely painful until I got it removed. But that is not the issue. I knew it was a possible side effect. The issue is that I received a bill for almost a thousand dollars for the follow up visit- which Capital Women’s Care made it seem like was a vital part of getting the IUD. Which it is. And should be covered under my insurance policy as preventative care. IF the right codes are filed. They have ignored my calls, and made no effort to correct their mistake. The doctor doesn’t care that she’s put her patient in a financial nightmare

I see Dr Berger Weiss at the Silver Spring office where I have been a patient for many years. When I go I am in and out within 30-45 mins., and feel well cared for as well as listened to. I usually only wait about 5mins for the tech assistant, then another 5mins for the doctor (Berger Weiss) who does a complete physical in about 10-15mins all the while remembering some of the meds I am on, providing information on Pap smears, and being friendly and reassuring. She listens to any questions or doubts I have and responds to all in a very cheerful and friendly manner. There are few doctors that make me feel so seen, and she is one of them. It is amazing how a satisfyingly efficient and interactive encounter with your doctor and their team can boost your spirits. Highly recommended.

I've been a patient of the practice for over 40. I started seeing Dr. Berger-Weiss after my GYN retired. She is very caring, easy to talk with, thorough, explain in detail what she will be doing during the examination, as well as advised me when to expect a call back from her if there are issues. She also recommend that I check the patient portal if I wish to see the result of my test.

Dr. Berger-Weiss provides exceptional service! She is always pleasant, has a welcoming demeanor, genuinely cares about my total health, answers my questions/concerns, and her appointments are on time.

She is the greatest! Explains everything clearly and asks questions without judgement. Make you very comfortable.

Although she appears to be nice and professional, she is very impatient, does not seem interested to listen about all the symptoms and jumps to a random conclusion.

Finally!!! After years of only finding mediocre Gynocologists, I found a gem. Friendly staff, nice office and a doctor with a great bedside manner, professionalism and care. I am beyond happy!!!
