Dr. Jessica Bernens, MD

So disappointed. She was highly recommended by a friend. Called was told that she was booked till march ( called Feb 6) fine. Ill accept that, since I'm a new patient. Was called TWO DAYS before by appointment stating Dr. Jessica Bernens had and "emergency" on Friday and I had to reschedule! Two days away does not constitute as an emergency, after being away from your office for 2 1/2 weeks!! I also was highly encouraged to come in, to fill out paperwork so my previous records could be sent. Why did your medical assistants not tell me this a month ago when I made the appointment???!!! That is literally part of their job description. They wanted to reschedule me the following week, which I could not do, due to other appointments from doctors who have it together. Thank you for the horrible lasting impression, on not only you but your practice.

She has been my PCP for almost 3 years and she’s honestly the best doctor I’ve encountered. She’s very efficient and through when it comes to concerns of patients. Any time I have ever had an issue, she has taken it very seriously. She always make sure that she takes necessary steps so that I can maintain good health.

Wonderful doctor! Dr Bernens is easy to talk to and so compassionate. I left the office feeling confident in my medical choices and care. I would recommend her to anyone, specifically someone looking for medical care in regards to womens health.

Dr Bernens is a outstanding Doctor and a very nice person. You can tell she cares very much about her patients. She listens to you and does all she can to help. I have been seeing her for about two years now. I could not ask for a better doctor at all. I have never been so happy with a doctor than Dr.Bernens and her staff. I chose Dr. Bernens based on a recommendation from another practice which I had contacted because I was specifically seeking a female physician to become my Primary Care Physician. I did a lot of research in making my selection. My first meeting with Dr. Bernens, as have been my last three monthly visits, was exceptional. Her bedside manner is exceptional, and it is easy to talk with her. She is well informed and compassionate. I am very pleased with the care rendered over the past 4 months

Dr. Brenens is attentive and acts as your partner in your personal healthcare. She takes all the time necessary to learn about and then address your concerns. I wholeheartedly recommend her if you are in Chesapeake and need a family physician.
