Worst doctor ever. Prescribed mega doses of steroids to raise my husband s bp. He became so violent I had to escape. New drs all said that amount was unconscionable and never used as a means to raise blood pressure. Canada look out. What’s the real reason she closed after 12 years?

She makes assumptions before even knowing a patient. She did a ultrasound on me, it was showing thyroid nodules and I was blown off by her. I went to a specialist to find I had primary hyperparathyroidism and had to have 2 adenomas removed.

Dr Bhathal was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She spent a great deal of time with me going over my complicated medical history. She called my other physicians to get additional information and discuss my case. Her sweet and compassionate nurse followed up with me to make sure I’d seen my lab results on the patient portal and asked if I had any questions. I found her to be warm and concerned but also extremely professional. She answered all of my questions. It’s a little annoying to have Drs type on the computer as they ask questions, which can seem a little cold since they are not making eye contact, but I appreciate the concern of getting my medical history right! It is not the doctors fault they use computers to log in your information, It’s the government and insurance companies mandated hoops they have to jump through! I highly recommend Dr. Bhathal!

I did not enjoy my visit with Dr. Bhathal. My previous endocrinologist retired, and I got automatically referred to her. She was not friendly or nice at all. I only saw her once before I requested a new doctor. She has no bedside manner whatsoever, and the whole appointment felt very rushed. Would not recommend.

Dr. Bhathal is very thorough and kind. She ordered an ultrasound and did a biopsy of a thyroid nodule, finding cancer. She likes to do her own ultrasounds to see everything for herself. I’ve found her to be very warm and kind-hearted. I think she cares very much for her patients. Her nurse, Katherine, is an RN and always calls with results in a timely manner and is very sweet. I’ve been a patient a year and a half and would recommend her to anyone seeking compassion and great care.

She is helping me and very thorough. I asked to be retested and she did and now I'm getting the help that I need and she answered all of my questions about my thyroid issues. I highly recommend her.

misdiagnosed me, hard to get an apt & this was in Mobile, Al. I see she goes to Louisiana also.

I saw this woman for complications I am experiencing with my diabetes. She made very distinct assumptions about me and my health before even getting to know me. Her bedside manner is terrible. However, her nurse was a breath of fresh air, very nice person.
