I started seeing Dr. Downes for foot drop back in 2018, after a severe knee dislocation left my peroneal nerve severed thus the foot drop. In February she performed a tibial tendon transfer and achilles lengthening procedure. The procedure and recovery so far have gone great! She is an exceptional foot and ankle surgeon for anyone wanting the best! I highly recommend her, as she is top notch! She treats all her patients like family!!

Dr. Downes performed surgery on my left ankle which was badly fractured. I had two surgeries. She did an excellent job and was very attentive to my concerns and situation. The entire ortho staff at Hennepin Health is top notch!

I had ankle surgery by Dr. Downes on June 15, 2016. I have been extremely happy with the results. She is very professional and answers every question I had.
