Dr. Jessica Howsley, MD

Dr. Howsley was extremely helpful to me, not only with my diagnosis of PTSD, but with figuring out the right treatment for me as well. She was the first psychiatrist I ever saw, and nobody compares to her! I truly felt like she cared about me as a person, and not just a patient that was really important to me. I miss her so much I wish she stayed at University of UT but that's just me being selfish, I know that she does amazing work and can help so many people and I'm sure she is helping so many veterans. Thank you Dr. Howsley!

I miss her! I had Dr. Howsley for almost 4 years as a psychiatrist and contrary to the 1 star (which has 8 downvotes which leads me to think other people don't agree with the 1 star as well - but everyone has a right to their opinion), I felt incredibly heard. I have never had a doctor so knowledgeable in medications and down to earth about what I was feeling. I never felt like a "psych" patient but rather someone who heard what I was going through, heard what I wanted to change, and helped me.

I have been seeing Dr. Howsley for 3 + years, and she has always been wonderful. She is always mindful of the individual needs of patients. She fills prescriptions and answers questions very fast through My Chart. I feel very taken care of!

She has helped me more, and been more attentive, than any psychiatrist I’ve seen in the past 20 years. She remembers what I’ve been doing and what is on my plate, she must take excellent notes. I do refer anyone I think needs help as well, to her.

INCOMPETENT..if you seriously need help, sincerely, GO TO SOMEONE ELSE. If all you need is adderall refills, dr. Howsley's office gets that right most of the time. Dr. Howsley prescribed incorrect doses of my other medication (that has serious side effects) every other month for 6 months. She still blames Costco, but claims there is no doctor at her office who can even review the care she has given me. While I told her during visits how miserable I felt, she never even reviewed my doses.
