Awful … no follow up at all, nor any concern!

I thought Dr Paonessa was a very good communicator, gave me the options, made a recommendation, and gave me the confidence to make the decision. She took the time even though she had a pending meeting. Never felt rushed.

Dr. Paonessa performed a HOLEP procedure for me. Her confidence, competence and outstanding communication are amazing and the outcome was life changing! She is a stellar physician. 10 stars out of 5.

A kidney stone greeted me during our time in our Maple City Home. Dr. Paonessa is on staff at Munson Medical Center. Procedure, kidney removal and stent went perfectly. She carefully explained the possibilities beforehand. I had the best possible outcome.

initial appt was a battle between her and myself. She had me so upset I was crying, asked her to not start the appt like that. She was extremely rude, one sided in her opinion telling me her skills to talk to and handle people were non existent. She was the same way for the first surgery, with my husband, daughter and her husband as a witness. My follow appt was her insisting that I keep an appt for Jan, when I had told her that we spend our winters in GA. She said that the appointment with HER was made in Sept and that I am to keep it. She said she could not treat me when I'm in GA. I am finding another urologist, and I pray that she will never treat patients like she has treated me. If this looks bad for her office, this is the second time I have problems with them. First time a person, called telling me I needed to have a cyst looked at because I may have cancer. This was over the phone that I was told this, and on my 30th anniversary. Bay Area Urology is awful.
