Unnecessary C section & Pregnancy loss
With my first daughter she had me do an unnecessary C section which could’ve been easily avoided if she would’ve took the time to turn baby or anything but instead she only cares about her schedule and what’s fastest for her. I stupidly went back to her for my 2nd pregnancy because I didn’t know where else to go, and I will forever live with that regret, forever. I asked if I could have a confirmation ultrasound before my D&C to have a sense of mind and she was beyond rude and told me she needed to be out of there by 8am but I insisted on getting one done and she did it but not willing or wanting to and was beyond insensitive. If you do not want a c section, birth trauma or a pregnancy loss I would suggest going to a different OB. Don’t make the same mistake I did and live with the same regret I do. All she cares about is herself and her schedule, she will never care about you even how many times you stress your concerns, she will brush them off.

I dont even know where to start. From making an appt to checking in to seeing Dr Sandmeiers nurse and then meeting Dr Sandmeier for the first time everyone exceeded my expectations for care. Everyone in this office cares about you and is willing to go the extra mile to care for you!! So hard to find a medical facility that works so well as a team. I am beyond grateful that Dr. Sandmeier took the time to listen to my concerns and address them, instead of just blowing them off. She is so full of knowledge and takes your concerns very seriously and not to mention she was so sympathetic as I was very emotional in my appointment as I needed guidance to what all my treatments could be , before making a decision that I was comfortable with. I'm beyond grateful I got a second opinion, HER. She, her nurse and billing acted very quickly to get me in for surgery, as they all knew I was in so much pain. They scheduled me at Lincoln Surgical Hospital and the experience was beyond amazing also. Thank you for being my voice when I didn't know if I should go through with an abdominal block and for the abdominal binder afterwards, definitely game changing this time as I didnt have this the last time I had this surgery with another doctor/office. Thank you for being you and making me so comfortable and not sending me home in pain. I finally have hope again and my mind is at ease while I recover!

Late and rude
She was over 30 minutes late for my daughters appt. My child fell asleep on the table waiting for her and when she entered the room was very rude to my daughter for falling asleep, offered no apologies and then rushed the appointment. My daughter had questions and the provider acted inconvenienced by having to talk to her about them.

She didn't explain anything, rushed everything, made decisions without talking them through, giving options or any type of reassurances. She just did what we she wanted. Plus was rude and acted like she didn't have time to assure her patients.

Dr. Sandmeier is phenomenal. She goes over above and beyond to help her patients. After seeing 4 other doctors for a recent illness she not only figured out what was wrong that is within her area of practice but took the time to research my other issues and then made recommendations to other trusted providers. I love her. She's so thorough. Kind. And pretty direct. I appreciate that. And all of the extra time she took with me. I'll forever be her patient.

Dr. Sandmeirer has atrocious bedside manner. She was called into my labor and took an hour longer than estimated. She was very rude and made an already difficult delivery even worse.

She doesn't support or even seem to trust her patients to have a natural birth. In fact she undermined my efforts by ignoring my birth plan and pushing an epidural even after I said repeatedly that I didn't want one. Horrible, will never go back to her. Stay far away, she's a terrible listener and not interested in what you think or want.

Dr. Sandmeier pays lip service to a low-intervention approach but then turns around and does not uphold it in practice. Because of her, I ended up with what I strongly suspect was an avoidable C-section. In her office we discussed my birth plan, but when I was in labor she restricted eating and drinking, repeatedly pressured me to have an epidural, and coerced me into giving birth on my back instead of in the position of my choice. She also broke my water without my consent. Do not recommend.
