You won’t regret it, she is very competent and what I like most is that when we talk about what’s worrying me the most about my condition she puts that in the healthcare plan to sincerely work on. It’s nice to be heard

INCOMPETENT STAFF - RUN!!!!!
I have tried for 4 weeks to get ONE medical record - BIOSPY results - sent to a surgeon. After 5 emails on my health portal, 3 VMs, I STILL CANNOT GET ANYONE TO HELP ME. People, don't come here. It just isn't worth it. Also, if you do go here for thyroid and end up needing a biopsy, whatever you do don't get it done here. It isn't there speciality and they charge THOUSANDS of dollars. Go to Dr. Teresa Kroeker for your biopsy.

Does not listen
Dr. Lu will act like she's listening during your appointment, and everything goes out the window post-care. She will advise you to use the messaging feature this hospital uses but in reality, it's her nurse responding on her behalf (SURPRISE- the nurse doesn't answer any of your questions) These doctors might as well be pill mill doctors for synthetic hormones-

I was forced to switch endocrinologists due to insurance no longer covering. My first ADC doctor was moving, but I had one appointment, and she recommended Dr. Lu. I AM so GLAD THAT SHE DID. Dr. Lu has been amazing. I love that during our appointments, when I bring up issues, she has ideas but encourages me to have input in my treatment. I feel respected, and am so grateful to have a doctor who values autonomy. She is thorough when she looks at dexcom and helps recognize and solve problematic high or low patterns. ALSO - ADC has a 24-hr nurse line which is so helpful. My pharmacy did not receive electronic prescriptions that were sent, so the nurse sent them by fax within minutes.

My experience with Dr Lu has been nothing but positive. I was in need of an endocrinologist after my current doctor left the practice. I was impressed at how much time Dr Lu took to fully review my records and past treatments. She spends the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. Dr Lu strikes me as someone who really enjoys her work and who cares about her patents. Really good doctor.

This was my first visit to Dr. Lu since my regular endo left this practice. She was professional, competent, warm, and made me feel like she was listening to everything I said. She asked a million questions which I feel makes a good doctor who wants to learn as much as possible on a first visit. Unlike some doctors, she has a personality and I felt I could relate to her. Anyone who is looking for this type of professional would do well to go to Dr. Lu.

This office operates in a manner that is beneficial for the Dr. They do not follow through with prescriptions they have written once discussed with the patient and Dr. They also do not consult with the patient if they change a prescription that might need additional approval from the insurance companies. In my experience the only friendly consultation was the very first appointment. I would avoid them. They do as little as possible to disrupt their business of pushing patients through for more$

After my current endocrinologist, who I loved and had been with for 4 years did not accept my new insurance, I was forced to switch providers. So my first impression of Dr. Lu went very well. She has excellent bed side manner. She was very thorough with taking the time to ask me questions.patient. She seemed very genuine and I felt very comfortable expressing my issues and she addressed them making me feel at ease. I am very happy overall with Dr. Lu and look forward to my next visit.
