Bad experience
I made an appointment with Dr Casimiro 6 months ago for my annual physical, and today was my appointment. My appointment was for 11:00 and they took me in about 11:10 am (not bad) the nurse came in not to long after and took my blood pressure and heart rate. But then I waited about 35-40 minutes to see the doctor, he thought it was a consult/meet since I was a new patient, I corrected him right away and said it was my annual physical. He took his stethoscope put it one place on my chest and one place on my back and asked me to breath in, that was my physical according to him. Asked me if I had any questions, and I replied “yes, I have a short list of items”, after my first question he got up and started to leave, I had to tell him again that “I had a list with a few items”, I felt like I was an inconvenience, if he was too busy to see patients today they should have called to reschedule.

My husband and I used to go to Dr. Casimiro when I lived in Ormond, and we liked his natural approach and alternative knowledge (for example, he warned my husband about the problems that stem from long-term antacid medicine years ago, which has now come to fruition because, let’s face it, men aren’t the best patients). In my experience, Dr Casimiro doesn’t over-prescribe like many conventional Dr’s seem to. I wish I could find a Dr. like him here in Atlanta.

Dr. Casimiro is very matter of fact and acts like he doesn’t enjoy helping others. He didn’t smile or act like he was interested in helping me. Made me feel like I was bothering him or wasting his time. I would not recommend him.

Dr Casimiro, always takes time to talk and make you feel cared about and more than a patient. His staff is friendly and caring as well, the office is clean and bright. Dr. Casimiro spends a lot of time talking and listening and he really tries to answer all questions before you leave the office and if you have questions or problems after he has even called me himself to answer a question.

Very dissatisfied with this doctor & office staff. Doctor sends patients to the emergency room or a specialist, then just refills the prescriptions that they write. Proper tests are not always ordered, & doctor says he doesn't have time to share results with patient. The doctor and staff obviously don’t care about the patients. Attempts by specialists to coordinate treatment are unsuccessful. They don't answer the phones during normal business hours.Miscommunications by staff. Go elsewhere.

I am very pleased with Dr. Casimiro. However, the patient portal needs major attention. Information updates made in the office do NOT coincide with patient portal information and causes delay in contacts for special care.

After 14 years as a patient he dropped me the same week that I went on medicare. Stated I was noncompliant. He sent me a letter and cancelled my remaining prescriptions. Wouldn't even speak with me. I must state that he is not a Dr. in the way i'm use to. All he does is direct traffic to a real M.D. and he just writes the scripts they prescribe. The only reason we were with him so long was my wife liked him. I started to go to the V.A. for much superior care. I'm improving amazingly. Keep look

My wife and I have been with Dr Casimiro for one year. I am 70 years old and have been struggling with type ll diabetes for 3 years. Outside of that I am in good health. He is the first doctor to get me on the right track to get my diabetes under control. He patience and thoughtful approach has been a terrific. He listens to you and takes time to answer your issues. I highly recommend him as a family doctor to anyone.

The doctor may be fine but it's hard to tell. I called to make and appointment a few times. I got the answering machine that told me to leave my information and expect a call back. It never came. Apparently this doctor is unaware of his offices practice or he does not care all that much.
