I have been meeting with Dr. Ligot via Telehealth system, which we started during the COVID dilemma. Dr. Ligot has been by my side through traumatic events in my life. He is so kind, patient and comforting to talk to, especially in my times of grief. I am healthy emotionally these days, and always enjoy my visits with the good doctor.

Sufficient Level of Care, Not Coercive
Pros: Non judgmental and does not attempt to be a psychotherapist which he would not be qualified to do. Offers telehealth appointments Never is coercive and is extremely respectful of patients epistemic authority-- you make the calls. Regardless of the reason if a medication makes you uncomfortable Ligot will offers alternatives. If you come to the appointment and you ask for something specific like an increase or a decrease he will discuss it but probably do what you have asked. Cons: Email is a poor communication method with this provider and they can have weird office hours making getting refills or making appointments difficult. I have also had issues with the portal on a few occasions where we had to use telephone instead. Will leave appointment if you are late without communication by more than 10 min. Brief appointments and low empathetic connection. But it gets the job done and connection is really for a therapist anyway. Not there to decide if you need meds
