Yes, absolutely. Dr. Heffernan is very down to earth, kind and caring, and has an extensive wealth of knowledge about (prostate) cancer, effects, tools in the arsenal, etc. She always allows sufficient time to answer questions, provide explanations and options and personalizes it to the patient.

I was referred to Dr.Hefferman through my urologist to get radiation treatment for prostate cancer. She provided a comfortable environment for treatment, and her professionalism and persona made for a relaxing encounter. She has surrounded herself with quality personnel that makes her team a positive experience. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Hefferman and her team to my family and friends in need of quality oncology care.

Dr Heffernan started out being very interested in my case when she took over my care @ 1 1/2 years ago. She ordered a Ct which had never been done in years. Thankfully it was clean. Her eagerness and explanations make me worry less than I have in years. Thankful I found her!

This doctor is a true HERO!! She really cares about her patients!!! She is VERY knowledgeable and compassionate with her patients. Her staff is also friendly and very supportive. There should be more doctors like her in the medical community. She listened to all of our questions and answered them professionally and supportive!!! We can't Thank this doctor enough for all her help!!!!!
