Dr. Jill McTaggart, MD

Wonderful doctor. Always does a great job making sure I feel comfortable and listened too.

Her front desk/nurse is extremely rude.

McTaggart has zero (or negative) bedside manner. She seems to be in a terrible hurry even if there aren’t other women in rooms or waiting area. I also waited for what seemed like forever in the exam room. Her nurse/secretary Jonnie (?) has even less bedside manner than Dr. Mc.

I have been with her since before my first was born. She is caring, professional, and knowledgable.

Doesn't listen to patients, and treats them with very little respect. Shes already decided what is wrong with you before seeing you, and which birth control pill is the only possible answer for your symptoms (which happens to be the same pill marketed all over the office). Even with a positive experience on a different bc, she insists on her "sponsored" pill. Forced into multiple pelvic exams, in spite of past trauma and without time to cope before hand. Staff enters unannounced as you change.

I have gone to Dr. Mctaggard for many years for my annual check up, until this year I had very few issues. I switched after suffering for months not knowing what was wrong and paid for tests(some that I didn't know she was doing and would had told not to do) only to have no answers. I finally went to a PA in my local town and found it was a bacterial infection...I will no longer go to Dr. Mctaggard.

I recommended Dr. McTaggart to my older daughter who found out she was pregnant based off the experience we had with my younger daughter. She showed her excitement for my daughters pregnancy as it was her first. My daughter ended up with a fetal demise but Dr. refused to just say D&C and insisted on a more in depth ultrasound to prove it. She teared up for my daughter and talked with her at length. Highly recommend this doctor!
