Changed my life!
Dr.Kim was amazing from start to finish. She explained options and really broke down my health condition in a way that I was able to fully understand. Long Story short- she was patient with me, answered all my million questions'mostly nervous ones' and let me tell you my 'my chart' messages were a bit frequent leading up to my surgery day. There is so much more I can go on about but mostly I want to thank Dr. Kim and her team for changing my life and ensuring that I was comfortable along the way. Recovery has been a breeze and that truly is a reflection of the care i received!

Doctor Kim was my third opinion on MRI results and I am so glad I found her. She reviewed the same tests and MRI results as two other doctors and came up with a plan that I was comfortable with. We scheduled surgery and she removed endometriosis and my fallopian tubes. She set my mind at ease because I was terrified of having surgery. The on call service could use a lot of work, but other then that, no issues. I will definitely use her in the future if need be.

Too busy to care about patients. She didn't even show up to my pre-operation consultation and I never had a post-op either. They rescheduled 1 time, couldn't "find me in the system" another time, and then she just didn't show 1 time. I had to find another doctor to take over. I strongly advise against using Dr. Kim.

Two years ago I received my endometriosis surgery from Jin Hee (Jeannie) Kim, MD. I am recovering postoperatively and have maintained my life without any discomfort. I highly recommend this doctor and recommend it to those who are looking for an obstetrician.

Not happy with my experience with this surgeon & her staff at Comubia at all. They are extremely disorganized and lack any basic professional courtesy to get back to you at all with any of your concerns or issues after surgery. I've never had to work with a more dismissive and incompetent medical staff ever and having to go through major surgery with her and her team, a huge mistake! It created huge distress for myself and my family. Needless pain caused by the incompetence of the entire staff!!

In one surgery, Dr. Kim removed my right ovary, fallopian tube, some endometrial tissue, and a gastroenterologist had to remove my appendix due to the amount of endometriosis in my abdomen. All I can say is I have lived pain free, literally, for one year and five days before my left ovary's endometrial cyst started acting up. :-( I did not take one pain med, including Advil for the entirety of a year. May have to have surgery again. I will be going back to Dr. Kim for sure.

Dr. Kim was an excellent doctor who was kind, caring and professional. She was very patient and knowledgeable in answering all my questions and accessible when needed. She performed a laparoscopic removal of a fibroid and completed what turned out to be a more complicated surgery expertly and proficiently. Her team of nurses were so kind and patient with any follow up concerns that I had post op and always answered my calls promptly. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and her team!

She was extremely thoughtful and caring. Answered every question I had and was easily accessible before and after surgery. Excellent surgeon. Courteous and helpful staff. Excellent nursing and wonderful team. I would recommend to my loved ones in a heart beat! I am aware that she is a specialist who a few months after the surigical procedure and standard postoperative period will have me Follow up with my primary Gyn for routine care.

You will only be a priority before and during your surgery. She was great at explaining the surgery and the procedures when asked. As soon as you're out the door, you need to find someone to help you if you develop issues following surgery, because you will never hear from her again. Unfortunately, I have developed issues as a result of her surgery, which I've tried to convey to her several times in 3 months. I now have to follow up with a different doctor.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Kim?
Had surgery with Dr. Kim as she came highly recommended from other medical practitioners. She is a great surgeon but I felt she was too curt in her responses when I asked her detailed questions pre-surgery; she brushed me off. I went into surgery not knowing much about what to expect, and instead had to do a lot of research online myself, or ask the residents instead. Her surgical coordinator, Michelle, is also absent-minded and didn't give me some paperwork so we had to scramble last minute.
