If Jing Zhou Hou is your doctor, you need to change immediately. I developed a secondary cancer to CLL, a cancer, per the AMA is one of he easiest types of cancer to diagnose. The painful experiences I endured because of his oversight could have been avoided with a routine biopsy. It disgusts me that UPMC allows such an incompetent individual to treat cancer patients.

Dr. Hou and his staff worked diligently treating my husband's cancer. They were patient in explaining everything to us, compassionate, and never seemed to not have enough time for us. He always wanted to make sure we had a clear understanding of my husband's diagnosis, treatment, and progression.

I have been under his care since January 2020 and I have nothing but the best to say about him and his staff.....Professional, kind, well educated and always with my health first...I am almost at the end of my treatment with him and have had a clean bill of health a few weeks ago......a few more test and if they go well I should be coming back every few months for follow up appointments......I have recommended him to people back in my home town and will continue to spread the good word about him

Dr. Hou provided excellent information about options for treating my lymphoma. He also was willing to give his opinion about the most appropriate protocol. Giving me a chance to choose for myself, but still offering expert advice. Turned out to be successful. Dr. Hou has been very kind, exacting, encouraging, and a little bit funny when appropriate. I think he is wonderful.

I love Dr. Hou and have the utmost respect for him. I know that I would not be alive today without his knowledge and expertise! I had a stem cell transplant in 2011, and had a very bad case of Graft Vs Host Disease, spending over 3 months in critical condition at Shadyside Hospital. I continue to see him on an ongoing basis. He is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend him...he is THE BEST!!!
