Biopsy on both breasts
Dr. Phillips was easy to talk to about my procedures. She is knowledgeable and professional. The nursing staff is excellent, supportive and compassionate. I recommend Dr. Phillips.

Terrifying experience
Dr. Phillips was using new equipment on me to do a biopsy. She clearly was not trained on the equipment. At one point she pushed a button and something shot into my breast quickly, scaring me and making me jump. She said “hmmm, sorry, I didn’t know that button would do that.” She ended up taking the sample from the wrong area but never admitted to her mistakes. It was a terrible experience. I was in tears leaving the facility. I found out later that the area that needed to be sampled was, in fact, something that needed to be removed surgically.

Mammograms, ultrasounds and eventually biopsy individually are all traumatic. It takes someone special to walk you through all 3. Dr Phillips and her tech Liz made the whole experience as stress free as possible. That’s really saying something. Wonderful “bedside manner”.
