Pediatric Allergies
I brought my 2 year old to Dr. Yoon asking to test for allergies after us struggling with eczema, having three episodes of difficulty breathing, and my 2 year old refusing lots of foods (e.g., she doesn’t eat eggs). He was very reluctant to test her for egg allergy and was very dismissive. In a meantime, she has high eosinophils and inflammation in her body that I’d like to decrease. He quickly mentioned that we should see immunologist with no recommendations for Drs in the area and has not even addressed or thought of potential asthma.

Honestly would give negative stars if I could. Dr. Joon was rude and dismissive. I’ve been taking my child to Johns Hopkins for years for severe food allergies and wanted to find a local practice. From the second he walked in, Dr. Joon was combative and kept challenging what the Johns Hopkins doctor had been doing with us for the past 10 years. Our situation is different in that our child is physically unable to complete an oral food challenge, but that is all Dr. Joon kept proposing…over and over. He has a linear way of thinking and needs to educate himself of customized patient care. He is not inclusive and has a horrible bedside manner. Would not recommend any parent bring their child here. I guess the one star is for the staff who were very pleasant and kind.

Impressive doctor and staff. Professional, thorough and results oriented treatment that has helped me greatly (when other allergy doctors could not). He treats several members of my family and numerous friends, and they all share the same positive results and high opinion of Dr. Yoon. My highest recommendations go out to him and his excellent staff.

My daughter is now 5, for years since we found out she had allergies, we struggled to find good doctors. It's been 2 yrs since I've taken her in to see any allergist. I ran across Dr. Yoon's website, he was close to home and had great reviews. The reviews wasn't what won me over it was the friendliness of the staff over the phone. When I came into the office not only was it a quick and easy check in, but we didn't wait long. The staff and the Doctor were also phenomenal through the whole visit

Very smart and funny doc. Explains things well and talks on your level. Quick and efficient but gets all the information needed asap. One of the best practitioners I have seen and having worked in the medical profession for years, I am very particular.
