I took my mother to see Dr. Abernethy and was impressed by all aspects of the care she received. The thoroughness of the exam, Dr. Abernethy's compassion, conscientiousness to find the cause of my mother's visual issues, and explanation of the test results and options for care were extraordinary.

Dr. Abernathy and the staff are all very professional, friendly, caring and proficient. I’ve been a patient for a few years now and am completely satisfied with them and my eye care.

Each visit with the Dr. was unrushed. She listened to my outcome needs for cataract surgery. She explained what she planned to do surgically, what to expect with the surgery in detail, and what implants she planned to achieve the mono vision goals. I felt respected, even though I am elderly. I can't say enough positive things about this doctor and the total outcome of cataract surgery. I would recommend her with NO reservations!

Dr Abernethy is a skilled ophthalmologist who can relate to the patient in a manner that cam be understood. We appreciated that she was not quick to prescribe meds. So glad that we found her for my care and my husband's.

Dr. Abernathy has great bedside Manner, Excellent Patient focus. Office staff also is very competent and knowledgeable. I feel like I get comprehensive easy to understand explanations from the doctor and the staff.

Dr. Abernethy was very thorough and explained in detail what issues she found. Options were explained and there was no pressure about anything. I found her to be very professional and knowledgeable and would recommend without reservation.

I am so glad I found Dr. Abernethy. I had originally gone to another eye surgery center that was like being on a conveyor belt and where there was a lot of pressure to sign up for surgery that very day. A friend recommended Dr. Abernethy and it was like night and day. She takes her time with you, answers all your questions, and there is no pressure to have surgery. She did do my cataract surgery-I have the monovision lenses. Right after the surgery, when I was experiencing some pain, she had me come in immediately. It turned out to be nothing unusual, but I appreciated being seen right away. Six months later, no complications, no glasses. And on top of that is was several thousand dollars less expensive than the high press place (they still call and leave messages trying to get me to come in). I can't recommend Dr. Abernethy highly enough.

Dr. Abernethy did my cataract surgery. She did an excellent job of explaining the procedure beforehand, so I was prepared on the day of surgery. I feel great and can see the details I was missing before . She is a great surgeon and a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Abernethy is the consummate professional, obviously very knowledgeable, has a genuine caring attitude and is extremely patient. After my first visit I knew I had found the right physician to perform my cataract surgery and lens replacement. She did both my eyes in November '17 and now for the first time in 64 years I have 20/20 vision without glasses or contacts. The results are simply amazing. The entire staff is equally as professional and caring as Dr. Abernethy.

SHE EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE PROFESSIONALLY AND IT WORKED OUT AS STATED. SHE FOLLOWED UP AT DIFFERENT DATES TO SEE EVERYTHING WAS GOING AS PLANNED. i APPRECIATE HER TALENT AND CONCERN FOR MY WELFARE.

Dr. Abernethy is very caring and extremely detail oriented. She works quickly and prepares excellent records of her findings. Her surgery has definitely improved my vision with no pain or adverse reactions. She impressed my wife and me so much that when my wife needed help, she left her previous provider and saw Dr. Abernethy. We discovered the previous provider had issued an incorrect glass prescription. Dr. Abernethy's exam discovered two problems creating problems. Now treating both!

She is wonderful. She takes time to explain and answer any questions you may have. She is a wonderful surgeon as well. She is always smiling even if there is more work to do. She is knowledgeable about insurance coverage for specific conditions and treatments. She has a marvelous staff. Everything is efficient and on time. I like that. She is one smart lady!!

Dr. Abernethy seems confident in her expertise. She is willing to answer patient's questions until certain that patient is both informed and comfortable with any medical decisions made.
