Dr. Monaco is truly the best of the best! She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and open to any equations and/or concerns you may have at any time. She has helped my daughter with some scarring issues above her eyebrow, after a pretty bad fall, and we couldn't be happier with the results. I suffered a fall a couple of years ago and needed several stitches right on the middle of my forehead. Dr. Monaco took excellent care of me during and after the procedure. Her post op treatment plan helped me through the healing process and I have to say that there is practically zero scarring! For my 6/30/20 emergency situation Dr Monaco rose above any expectations to extend herself. The surgery ended up being 55 stitches just above my eye, it was performed with calm, small talk and such gentleness i didn't even feel it. She is a perfectionist, very professional, follows up (at home) to avoid me going to her office (Covid19 !!) We became so close I consider her a friend although she is about my daughter's age. Truly a blessed encounter under trauma situation.. She's simply the best as a plastic surgeon and a human being.

I feel Dr JoAn Monaco is my savior! I had MOHS surgery for an Insitu Melanoma above my lip and had plastic surgery to repair the defect. I had a problem with pincushioning after this surgery despite massaging my scar for 9 months.
