Worst doctor I’ve ever had
Years after my bad appointment I still think of how insulting and pushy Dr. Zeidman was during a routine visit. She tried to push me on getting a 3D mammogram over 2D, extolling the benefits in percentages, but when I expressed concern about radiation percentages she said, oh “just a little more”. When I declined birth control for condoms she told me I “better start taking folic acid to prepare my body to have a baby.” It seemed she was very focused on prescribing meds or tests during routine visits where nothing was wrong. I didn’t appreciate her tone, approach or recommendations.

AVOID this DR
Once trusted this practice, delivered twins in my mid 30’s — only assumed seeing a (new to me) physician now in my 40’s that my experience would be fine. Dr Zeidman was exactly how others with negative experiences have described. I now feel my horrible experience is validated by these other women. I would never want another woman to experience what I did 2years ago. Zeidman was rough, aggessive, rude, dismissive, condescending. I asked about perimenopause, mood swings, hot flashes and hormones in general. She told me my questions were Anti-Woman. Said I was likely depressed and go see a dermatologist if Im concerned about thinning hair. Me, in shock and embarassed for asking - at the same moment, she jammed a finger up my rectum with 0 warning until it was actually happened. My mask slipped off my nose when I jumped and was scolded.I had an abnormal pap, biopsy and then conization followed by LEEP by Zeidman with a spit of lidocaine that did not take. I was traumatized.

Love her no-nonsense approach
Dr. Zeidman is great! She says it like it is, with warmth. Sad that she is retiring. I will miss her. It is because of Dr. Zeidman that my high blood pressure was found. She also moved me from stubbornly not wanting medical intervention for osteoporosis to, after I sustained a compression fracture, understanding why it was so very important. I wish her all the best.

Terrible Doctor
Dr. Zeidman seeemed annoyed by my questions about menopause. Oversimplified my symptoms and difficulties. Treated me as if I knew nothing about my body and that what I was experiencing was not valid or was my fault. when I asked if she would run a panel of labwork to check my hormone levels her response was "never in my entire career have I done that". She was rude, dismissive and in my opinion unknowledgle about the range of ways women experience menopause. At the end of my appointment she told me I had edema in my ankles and should get a cardiologist. Then she walked out.

Insensitive Care
Women's healthcare should provide compassion, kindness, and a tender approach to the unique needs of women in their various stages of life. Unfortunately, as a new patient of Dr. Zeidman I received care that was dismissive, rude, and lacked human compassion. This care does not align with Axia's vision of women's healthcare and is quite concerning. Women deserve better!

Find Another Doctor
I actually came looking for reviews because I had such a negative experience with Dr. Zeidman. I had labs done outside of the practice to look at some hormonal red flags which showed low progesterone. Dr. Zeidman quickly dismissed me and the results saying that there is no such thing as low progesterone and I'm fine (I can tell you after struggling for the last year, I am not). I then (mistakenly) let her know that as a remarried woman who just turned 40 that I would like to try for another baby - to that she said I needed to do it NOW bc after 42 no fertility clinic would even take my money. I started to cry on the exam table while she surprised me with a rectal exam (WHY?!) Awful, awful, awful experience.

Terrible
3 reasons. 1. I had to wait an hour and 15 to be seen for my scheduled appointment. 3. She rushed me through the appointment like I was on an assembly line! 2. I called 2 times to get the results of my pap. 12 days.., yes TWELVE DAYS, following my pap I received a call from Dr Zeidman and missed the call. She left a message saying to call her about the results of my pap. Of course since she didn’t say everything looked fine I was concerned. I called at least 10 times in 2 days and left 3 messages. I finally got a call back from a receptionist stating that the dr is seeing patients but would call me by the end of the day! It is now past business hours and the office is closed and no word from the Dr. This is extremely insensitive, unprofessional, and impersonal! Finding a new Obgyn! Don’t go see her!!!

Just awful.
It’s bad enough when doctors are dismissive of your health concerns or skeptical of your medical history (conditions diagnosed by other doctors in other fields of expertise), but she gave such an aggressive pelvic exam that the dismissiveness seems minor in comparison. If you’re an assault survivor I would stay far away, she goes very fast and is rough and announces when she’s already knuckle-deep in the business that she’s going to do a rectal exam too. No, you’re not, lady. I’m never going back.

I had my first appointment with her after seeing another practitioner for years who left the practice. Dr. Zeidman was in and out of the room extremely fast, which felt odd because I was a new patient to her. I barely got in a word with her and it felt like I was an inconvenience. She was rough with the pelvic exam, and also took it upon herself to do a rectal exam with minimal warning, and minimal lubrication. I felt violated and upset, and will most likely look for women's healthcare elsewhere.

Dr. Zeidman has been treating me for 23 years and made me feel better after each visit than when I arrived with all sorts of problems. You cannot find a more experienced doctor in the area who is nicer and more knowledgeable about women's issues. If you feel that she dismisses your concerns, it must be that you don't need to worry since it is not a serious issue. She is awesome.

I really like Dr. zeidman. She explained everything to me. Answered all my questions. She performed a hysterectomy with bladder repair. She was very attentive. Could not have gone any better. Glad I had the procedure done.

Wish I had read these reviews before seeing Dr. Zeidman, as I ended up having a very similar experience to other reviewers. I attempted to talk to Dr. Zeidman about concerns I had with excruciating period pain, previous ovarian cysts, and constant cramping. She dismissed all of my concerns and made me feel stupid. In addition, the nurse who helped me had the nerve to say, "Wow!" after I listed my several medications for her. Highly inappropriate and unprofessional environment.

I feel bad that I have to leave such a negative review, but here it goes... Dr. Zeidman waz very dismissive of my symptoms & was cutting me off mid-sentence repeatedly when I was trying to explain how I was in the ER the w/ several ruptured ovarian cysts & trying to get her to understand the excruciating pain I felt w/ period. Told me ruptures are normal in every woman & to deal w/ pain was all in my head. Ended up in ER several weeks later stage 4 Endometriosis & endometrioma. Thanks Dr. Z

Worst phone system ever! Just glad I wasn’t having an emergency! I literally have to find a new doctor because of how horrible the phone system and reception is. When I needed to speak with somebody urgently, I got a message that made it seem like the phone line was disconnected. Finally I got through to the office and sat on hold for 45 mins. When I finally got a human, she was rude, dismissive and unapologetic. Unacceptable!

This doctor is absolutely not reliable. It was by far the worst experience at a doctors office of my entire life. She did an examination procedure (aside from the Pap smear) WITHOUT my approval or consent whatsoever. I have never felt so violated. I'm in my early 30s with no history of any kind of diseases which should not require that exam. She showed no concern or consideration in at the very least ask me if she could do it. I do recommend her to anyone.

Waited over an hour to see the doctor. No one apologize for or acknowledged the wait. Staff at the desk were loud and annoyed when patients asked about the wait time. Very rough exam. Felt like dr. Zeidman was rushing the whole time and jumped out of the room once the exam was complete.
