Highly disappointed
When Dr. Ayoung first came in, she seemed nice. She asked me about some history and when I told her I had seen a functional medicine physician who ordered a Dutch test and based on the results, was prescribing me oral medications, sane literally said to me “I don’t know the Dutch test, I will let the other doctor handle that” and then continued with her exam. I was shocked by her response, as I would have expected if she didn’t know about this hormone test, she would have either asked me for more Information or told me she was unfamiliar and would look into It or something of that nature, rather than dismiss it altogether. When I told her about my prior gynecologists treatments and recommendations for an IUD, she said “THAT is evidence based and I agree with that course of treatment.” I felt her tone was condescending rather than compassionate or understanding. She had difficulty completing my pelvic exam, something that no other gyn has had issues with and was really uncomfortable.
