Dr. Joanne Azer, DO

Gets it right the first time! Highly recommend!

I have been under Dr. Azer's care for approximately 6 years. I don't pick doctors lightly so did a lot of research to find someone who I thought would be a great fit for me. I am very pleased with Dr. Azer and appreciate that she takes the time to listen to my concerns and offer the best solution for whatever I am seeing her for. I always feel that I'm being heard and respected regardless of the matter at hand and, if a request can't be filled for whatever reason, she explains why it can't be and offers another solution to my problem/ailment. I highly recomment Dr. Azer and I'm very picky when it comes to doctors. Also her staff is amazing, as well....very friendly and compassionate even with the most sensitive matters.

Would highly recommend. Kind and exceptional bedside manner.

Dr. Azer has been my doctor for at least a year, she’s so sweet, compassionate, and so thoughtful.

She was kind and took her time. She was helpful and knowledgeable.

Horrible experience with a dismissive, unprofessional, person. Worst experience I’ve had discussing a sensitive matter.

Dr. Azer was very rude, didn’t even listen to me when discussing my medical concerns. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and she started cutting me off after about 5 minutes like she wanted to end the appointment, and she did abruptly end the appointment. Do not go see her, it will be a waste of you time because she obviously thinks her patients are a waste of time. I suggest she find a new profession where she doesn’t have to talk to patients!!!

I do not recommend you consider Dr. Azer as your PCP. I have been with Kaiser for 5 years and have only been able to see her once. Which was a very unfortunate visit because Dr. Azer rushed me out and as I mentioned to her a concern I had she disregarded it and just said use something OTC. Did not even take the time to ask if I had already tried OTC medicine or to evaluate the issue. In addition, she does not respond to message and when her staff does it is always with a " You need to schedule an appt to discuss with Dr. Azer". However she is never available overt the phone or in person when needed. In my opinion a PCP should built a relationship with her patients and at the very least respond to her patients via portal with a valid responds, especially if she know she does not have availability for appointments!

I highly recommend Dr. Azer, she takes the time to listen and discuss any proposed health issues. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Incredibly rude and incompetent. Hardly addressed the issue I went there for and tried to rush me out the door. Complete waste of time. What's the point in being a doctor if you're not going to even try to help and you clearly don't care about people's well-being?

I’d give her 0 stars if I could. I felt rushed which I find inappropriate. Because I only spent 5-10 minutes with her, I did not get to explain myself and my problems. She did not treat me like a patient should be treated. I followed up with her and the situation and she basically brushed it off and told me to get over it because she already said sorry. She rushed me again with the follow up because she had 3 other appointments to go to, which again - inappropriate. I felt degraded and unheard.
