Surgery from 2010
I had nagging neck problems from the late 1970s until 2010. After years of physical therapy, the situation got much worse. I was evaluated by a veteran surgeon (Dr. Stewart Eidleman). He advised my two (2) choices for surgery woud be: C4-C7 fusion or C3- C7 fusion (at the time needed rods and 6 months in a "bird cage"). I asked him what he would do if it was his neck, he said C4-C7 which would eliminate most of the pain and associated problems. I said when, he said, "I don't do these long, major surgeries and longer. We have a young gifted surgeon in our practice. He was right, that surgeon was Dr. Job Dorcil. After almost 13 years, things are still good. Thank you Dr. Dorcil!

He was my surgeon for 3 spinal surgeries. We knew there could be issues after each. And there were. He took care of me. I have so much respect for him.

Dr. Dorcil was kind, matter-of-fact - sensitive to my fear about surgery. He treated me royally and visited me while I was in the hospital. Since then I do Yoga, walk ,exercise eventhough I have 4 screws and rods in my L4L5.
