Dr. Jodi Fox Mellul, MD

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but here we are. Been a patient for 11 years. At first this was a great practice, but since 2021 service has declined, I go every 3 months and every appointment is now 45-60 minutes late, you feel hurried through tge visit after tge long wait, bedside manner has declined and she has shifted much of her business to online visits which is fine, but it is now affecting the quality as she takes on more online patients. Money grab? I don’t know, but I wonder. Staff is now subpar when you can reach them. Not the top notch doctor I started with.

Dr Fox Mellul is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. She explains things well.

I am a former patient of Dr. Jodi Fox-Mellul. My husband is a current patient. I left the practice several years ago due to the gross incompetence of this office, and now my husband is leaving it as well. When I left I was compelled to write bad reviews on various sites, after which I spoke with both the office manager and Inspira about the problems that existed there. My husband stayed, in the hopes that things would improve after voicing our concerns (there are too many examples to list). We have been offered many of the same excuses over and over, and have tried being patient and understanding. We like Dr. Fox-Mellul, but my husband has quite a few health issues, and the incompetence of her office staff means that he’s not getting the kind of care that is expected and necessary to maintain his health. We want the best care possible, and we do not feel that it can be provided by this practice. Do not recommend!

I had a really terrible experience at first when they didn't return the pharmacy's phone calls. After 2 months that was squared away but I have called 5 times in 2 weeks and have never rec'd a phone call back to reschedule my next appointment; i had blood work come back funky and i'm a little worried. The doctors seem ok but the office staff is either completely overwhelmed or totally neglects their duties which is sad for patients.

She is kind and caring , and explains all treatments using language I can understand.

I will definitely recommend Dr. Fox to family and friends. From the time I walked in the door the office staff was so welcoming and helpful and they had all of my records ready for the visit. I have only had to wait 15 minutes at the most. The doctor is so patient and explains everything until I understand. She even calls to check on me when she had to change my medications. The office staff always calls before my appointments to make sure all the testing was done so my appointment is complete.

Dr. Fox has been treating me for an ongoing issue- there is no question that she is the best around here- she is always available when I have a problem or I need a med adjustment she is smart and caring I am so lucky she is my doc!!!

Took me off my thyroid medication after being diagnosed with hashimotos. Said levels are normal. Felt horrible and was gaining weight even tho I was barely eating. Her answer was just exercise. Ended up in hospital for days because lack of medication and what was happening to my body. Drs immediately put me on medication and told me with my levels my thyroid would be dead in 6 months! Way to go.... think ya dropped the ball on my case

Dr.Fox was a great and very knowledgeable about my condition. She answered all my questions and made sure I clearly understood my treatment options. Also I must mention that the staff is AMAZING!!! They were friendly and I felt like they genuinely cared about me and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.

During my appointment, Dr. Fox only wanted to dictate to me, rather than discuss options for my condition. She did not like the fact that I did research before my appointment and did not like being questioned. She also made unfavorable comments about me in my report, not realizing that I would be able to read it.

I did not have a good experience. . First visit was w/Dr. Fox and went fine. I was sent for some tests & scheduled for a f/u with Amy Scanlon. At my follow-up, I was given a diagnosis and asked to schedule an MRI. Two hours after I returned home, I received a phone call from Ms. Scanlon stating that there was some disagreement regarding how to proceed and not to schedule MRI. She would get back to me the following day. That was 2 wks ago and I have not received a call yet!!
