I have approxately 15 years as Dr. Nickel's patient. I personnally know she is the most caring doctor I have ever seen. She is never rushed, very thorough and extremely caring and compassionate. She quickly attends to any problems she finds and follows up on any concerns I express. Dr. Nickel is also quick to refer me to specialist when she finds a problem that should be addressed by a specialist. She is also very good about following up with me on anything she learns from specialist referrals, as well as test she orders. If you are looking for a extremely smart, caring and compassiate doctor who really cares about her patients, she's the one for you. I also find the office staff very courteous and caring. It sometimes takes a while to get your first appointment, a complete physical because Dr. Nickel's does takes as much time as is needed to care for her existing patients. Once established, I have never had a problem getting an appointment.

Horrible horrible doctor. A patient previously diagnosed with anxiety and depression, for whom I am a caregiver,, saw her condition deteriorate even after working with psychiatric care and adjustments to medications. No thought that it could be something else causing her symptoms, when in fact it was a brain tumor. Valuable time was lost and at follow up after a major brain surgery, the doctor just wanted to brush all her care off on anyone else. Wouldn’t even refill her prescriptions. Insisted a psychiatrist should prescribe them while going through chemotherapy and unable to even speak to a therapist due to aphasia, loss of memory and confusion. Absolutely no compassion whatsoever and completely unwilling to work with the patient to help make her life even slightly easier. Stay away because you may actually get sick.

Amazing Family doctor. She takes her time and really listens. Recently seen for an illness and she had her assistant call to be sure I was improving. Always great care and service. Staff is always friendly and smiling
