Disappointment
No follow up post surgery. We left numerous voicemails and no call back. Completely disappointment, clearly just chasing profits.

Zero bedside manner
Terrible at giving instruction, I felt like I had to pull information out of him. Barely listened to my concerns, nonchalantly said he “couldn’t do anything for me.” I have an ear issue and an ear doctor can’t do anything for me? Don’t know why he has good reviews on another site, he’s obviously terrible and so is his MA. Front desk was very nice though.

Worst doctor ever!
Yelled at me the entire time and said the medication was not what he prescribed during my follow up appointment. You were the doctor to prescribe it a week ago, what do you mean it’s the wrong medication? I brought your prescription to the pharmacy. Incompetent and unprofessional. Avoid at all cost!

Went for audio test to him, he said all looks good and suggested nasal endoscopy then suggested allergy test and at last said nothing can be done for the humming sound in my ears. Also sent me a bill of $600

Dr. Alexander had 0 bedside manners. He didn’t ask me any questions, he didn’t listen to any of my concerns. I went in for symptoms of vertigo and he didn’t acknowledge anything I was saying. He didn’t explain the process or anything he was doing. He was very rushed and had one foot out the door. He told me the audiologist was coming in soon to get me to do a hearing test. I asked him if I would see him after I was done with the hearing test, he said “maybe.” I asked because I didn’t know what was going on. The audiologist brought me back to the exam room and Dr. Alexander and his student came in. He nonchalantly asked me if I wanted to do physical therapy for my vertigo and I said is it going to help, he said it might. I will not be seeing him again or be referring others to him.

Dr Alexander is a quack. He had me take a $2k+ visit to the ER, for what I later found out I could have gone to any urgent care facility for. It was during normal business hours as well. He also saw (and charged) me for a follow up appointment to tell me to go buy otc sinus meds. He does not care about his patients, just wants the money.

Worst ENT. On top of being incredibly dismissive, tried to tell me I wasn't even a patient there after they'd just seen me the day before, and repeatedly lied to my insurance company about my medical history despite the fact that I corrected them 5 or 6 times. The office had flickering lights and looked kind of dirty. My insurance company also told me that Dr. Joel Alexander was almost impossible to get a hold of and wouldn't return their calls. 0/0 would recommend to no one.
