Bedside manors are poor at best. I’m a new patient and it was my first visit. Was not friendly, didn’t take the time to know me. Did a breathing test for asthma and all he did is say it was off the charts horrible then left. Never told me what normal was and where I was. I’m going to chalk up the first visit to the stress of the COVID 19 issue. Hopefully the visit is better in 6 months when he wants me to come back

I don't understand the negative comments. I have been a patient of his for many years and find that when I walk in the door I am treated with respect and consideration, I find the office staff to be very efficient and handle all aspects quickly and accurately with ALL questions being FULLY answered before I leave. Questions between visits are addressed in a reasonable amount of time and I hope to keep Dr. Buchanan as my doctor for as long as possible. My wife also agrees with my review.

Would not recommend. One size fits all approach combined with incompetent staff who cannot draw blood. He does not make medical decisions based on professional expertise; instead he follows a very basic decision tree and does not ask enough questions of the patient to understand what needs to be done. I travel all over the world and he smugly told me that he refuses to provide the vaccinations recommended by the WHO and CDC because they are not recommended by the local health department.

Dr. Buchanan, as well as the whole staff, has consistently done an outstanding job with my health concerns. I trust his recommendations and appreciate that he LISTENS to me and answers any questions and concerns I have.
It's not often you find a doctor who cares ... he does!

He is a physician in our doctor's practice. We have used him in emergencies. Sent my husband home with pneumonia which he did not diagnose. We went to ER. Told me not to worry about blood pressure over 140/90.
