Dr. Joel Feinstein, MD

What visit? Dr. Feinstein is my husband's internist but never have we experienced such disregard from a medical professional. Whereas our other longtime doctors are quick to respond and ALWAYS willing to squeeze us in (in person or online), Feinstein is stunningly cavalier and consistently passes the buck. Yesterday, w/o looking at a wound that has been festering since we first alerted him over 3 weeks ago (he didn't ask for a photo, then or now), he suggested, via voicemail, that he could prescribe an antibiotic over the phone. My son's experience has been similarly disturbing. When he recently called for guidance in obtaining immunization records for graduate school, Feinstein's office "blew him off." Thankfully, a call to customer service at a random urgent care facility was both reassuring and productive. It's as if Dr. Feinstein wants us to leave his practice. Message received.

I saw this Dr. a few years ago and was swayed by all the glowing reviews. However, I found him to be cold and unfeeling to my medical situation. I was supposed to get a colonoscopy done by him but after meeting him on the initial appointment, cancelled it, and went elsewhere. I remember crying in his office over a recent diagnosis of hereditary colon cancer and all he could say was, "you need a kleenex, you shouldnt be wiping your face with your hands." Just awful.

Dr. Feinstein performed my routine colonoscopy this past week. What a great experience for something I was not looking forward to! Prior to the procedure, he walked me through what would happen and answered all my questions. The procedure went great - I highly recommend him for his wonderful bedside manner and patience.

Dr. Feinstein is the BEST! I have been with him for 19 years. I have referred many friends to him and they ALL love him as well. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Feinstein as part of my care team. I am grateful. :)

Dr. Feinstein is without a doubt a first class top notch physician. You would indeed be hard pressed to find a doctor to match him in so many respects. No time crunch here folks to get you in and out. He is a consummate professional so smart, and the sweetest, nicest, kindest exceptional person. If you are searching for the best, he is right here!!

Dr. Feinstein is the best doctor I've ever seen, and I've been seeing him at least twice a year for 14 years. He takes whatever time is necessary when I'm there, carefully listens to everything I need to say or report on, and is completely non-judgmental about everything. I feel wonderfully taken care of, and know I can count on his help when I need it. Breaking thru my profound resistance, he performed a colonoscopy last year, and even the prep went smoothly. In short, he's the best.

Dr. Feinstein called me twice to inform me of test results. At each appointment he thoroughly discussed tests, as well as, my health condition in clear understandable terms.
