we had dr kershenbaum for several years when we lived in the upper houston area of texas. my husband really liked him. i bet he is retired now. he is a good dr if he is still active..we miss him.

Even when you had the very first appointment of the day (and I always did), he still made you wait at least an hour before he saw you. Also was forced to come in at least every few months if I wanted a prescription refill, at which time he gave me something resembling a pseudo physical, and billed my insurance company $$$. Gave him a year, and nothing ever changed.

Extreme wait times. Poor bedside manner. Unhelpful with insurance approvals for prescriptions medication.

Dr Kerschenbaum really cares about his patients. He has no problem referring you to the appropriate specialist when necessary. He is pro-active concerning possible conditions, related to the patient's age, weight, history, etc. The follow-up is top notch. Dr Kerschenaum has been our family doctor for several years and we have recommended him to others.
