Not a heathy outcome
I had a lithotripsy done by Dr Leon, and the surgery went great. He said he got all the stones and I was not ordered to continue my antibiotics after surgery. One week later they removed the stent and we all thought we we’re doing well. A few days later I developed symptoms. I called the office and they did a test which came back inconclusive. It was approaching a holiday. I called the office 3 times that week telling them of my symptoms, but they put me off stating Dr Leon was out for the holiday to call back on Monday. Even after I desperately asked then I’m supposed to continue with these symptoms til Monday? They answered “Yes”. By Saturday night I had went into seizures and couldn’t breathe, went to a St. Louis hospital and was admitted for 6 days. I was very nearly septic and my kidney was shutting down on me. There was a massive bacterial infection in my kidney. So I don’t know if it was the dr or his office butt I feel they didn’t listen to me and i nearly died because of it.

Dr Leon is brilliant! He is kind, compassionate, extremely helpful, smart, and an excellent providers. I found him after going to a horrible md in StL and he blew me away. He didn’t rush me at all and Spent 45 minutes with me. He performed a gladder procedure and I felt completely comfortable. I never go to another urologist. I trust him with my life. Also, his nurse Kay is a godsend. So incredibly helpful and very friendly. The two of them are my favorite providers and I have a lot of other physicians.
