Outstanding Practice Clearwater
Friendly, very capable entire staff. Life changing results in my first 2 months with Allergy Immunologist, Dr. J. W. Phillips. This year! The whole clinic operates like a perfectly tuned, personable machine.

Poor Patient Treatment
My experience was very poor. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional. He looked at my back in his private office (not an examining room) and told me he knew the problem. When I tried to provide information on my allergic conditions, I was told not to interrupt him since he gets confused (his words) when patients do not answer his questions in the order he asks them. I added that I had recently seen a dermatologist, and he said that the dermatologist did not know what they were talking about. I had the patch test results with me, which he did not want to see. He then told me that he did not want to see me as a patient since I would not cooperate with answering his questions when I could not tell him exactly how many days in the last 8 months I had itching skin flare-ups. The entire appointment took maybe 5 minutes.

Dr. Phillips did not even came close to my skin.
Dr. Phillips sat by his desk, I sat far across from him. He asked me what was my problem and since when I have the rash. I started telling him about my allergy, he stopped me and told me that I have to answer his question and he knew that I have ezcima and he prescribed a cream that was very expensive. Later he changed and that was the end of my visit to this Dr. Never came to see what was my allergy,

Front staff is just terrible. He's nice, but i always wonder why they let nasty women like this run their "front of house" operations.

Fantastic doctor. Thanks to Doc my breathing problem, 50% lung capacity at 50, is now at 70% -75% and I can function normally at 59. Also anytime I'm not well they get me in ASAP and I never have to wait & follow up to make sure I'm better. 20 plus year patient.

Wonderful experience. When I called, an actual person answered the phone, not a menu to choose from. I got an appointment the next day. Dr. Phillips knew exactly what my issue was and better yet, was able to fix my problem that neither my PCP or dermatologist could. His staff is awesome also

Worst doctor experience of my life! He was berating his staff before our interview even began. He was unaware of my genetic illness and was unable to correctly pronounce it. After showing him active eczema on my body he asked me when I got rid of eczema? What? I have it now. After I pushed back at his rudeness toward me he proceeded to throw me out of his office. I was happy to leave. I recommend finding a doctor who was trained in this century and has kept up with modern medicine.

Dr Phillips is the only doc I have seen who has been able to get my allergies under control. He always takes time with you instead of rushing off to the next patient like a lot of doctors do. His nurse practitioner is also great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice.

Took wks. to get in despite bad allergy reaction, waited over 2 hours past appt. time in freezing waiting room with painfully hard chairs. Dr. spent less than 5 minutes with me and told me two very different medical conditions I have are the same, which made me not trust. 6 wk. wait for tests, changed my appts. for tests 2 times, gave me no choice of 2 future open appts., and when I asked to choose, hung up on me. I went elsewhere, though I had to start all over again. Unprofessional.

Dr. Phillips is very detailed and caring. Also, he is wise, well studied, and applies his skills and knowledge as a fresh look each time he sees you. He's very good at reviewing your history and making the best recommendations. His Nurse practitioner is excellent when he is not available.
