Dr. Joel Sherman, MD

Dr Sherman is a gentleman he is very thorough and compassionate, he listened to all my concerns, staff were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend

First, the office is very well run and the staff is very friendly and polite. The medical team was top notch and really communicated with me as to tests, results, procedures and expectations. I have had no less than three other urologists who never were as thorough and never looked for a solution to my medical issue. In fact by the time I got to Dr. Sherman my condition had additional complications. Dr Sherman gave me a test no other Urologist had even suggested and it turned out to lead to a treatment. He had an in office surgical procedure which has corrected my condition. Dr. Sherman put my concerns and my comfort first and was a true professional. I for one am very satisfied to have found Dr Sherman and his team.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sherman for a number of years now. He is an exceptional physician, very knowledgeable and careful. His physician assistants, Mike, Phil, Adam, and Amanda are also wonderful. Years ago, he addressed an enlarged prostate that another doctor ignored, and through the years, he and his staff have provided excellent care. Thank you Dr. Sherman.

Dr. Sherman is a wonderful Dr. I had three episodes of kidney stones. He was very thorough and treated me like family. Wonderful bedside manner I would recommend him very highly. Great Dr. Love him!!!

if you want to see a doctor your going to the wrong place ! they were supposed to talk to my cardiologist for clearance of an injection. they faxed a paper to my cardio, several times I told them my doctor wants to talk to the doctor but they never called to speak to him. they kept me coming back charging me for office visits for over 3 months. I called and said please have pa call the cardiologists office to discuss treatment. they never did. I wanted to make sure all was good before I went to

Dr. Joel Sherman is the best urologist that I have ever been associated with. His demeanor and skill are unsurpassed. I come from New Jersey to see him. I recommend him highly.He's compassionate and excellent in alleviating the patient's fears. His staff is the best staff in any doctor's office that I've been to. It's worth the trip to see this consummate professional. The PA's are extremely knowledgeable. It's not just a job for them Lucia is great at her job as well as the rest of the staff.

The best doctor I have ever had. Most caring, easy to speak to and makes you feel comfortable even when your pants are at your ankles!! In all seriousness probably the best doctor (including all areas of medicine) on Staten Island and even possibly NYC.

I have been having a problem for a few years now & finally got the courage to take care of it. Dr. Sherman was the most compassionate doctor I've ever met, he explained all the procedures, step by step and made me understand everything that was going on, "in English", not medical terminology.
