***** STAY AWAY FROM DR. JOELLEN HEIMS *****
I saw Dr. Heimes for 6 months. She did not seem to care about my health at all. I have several VERY serious health issues. But ALL she asked me about, was my Pain, and ADHD medicine. Both of which I had been taking at the same level, for MANY years. She asked NOTHING about ANY of my other 15 meds, or ANY of my many diagnosis, like a Mayo Clinic recently diagnosed blood clot at the base of my brain. That is slowly killing me. I agreed to try to reduce the amount of pain meds I was taking. But without any notice at all. She lowers the dosage 2 more times. Then without ANY notice at all, changes the dose of my ADHD meds. When I told her the changes were making my BP skyrocket, and causing me strokes/seizures, she didn't care in the slightest. When I suggested I start recording our visits, she immediately dropped me as a patient. Leaving me in VERY bad shape. This dr. has no idea what "DO NOT HARM" means. Do yourself a favor. Steer clear of this bad excuse of a doctor!!!!

Went to Dr. Heims with very personal issues and she was thorough and listened to all of my concerns. Would give her the highest recommendation possible. Very easy to talk to and made what was one of the worst experiences of my life way better than it could have gone.

She spent less then 2 minutes in the room with me. I started to tell her my symptoms and she immediately stood up and said "referral". She walked out of the room and didn't even listen to the end of my symptoms or do any type of exam.
