Bad experience
Dr brown was scared and dismissive of my small service dog. She did not order a urine culture even though the UA was positive for a uti. Insisted on a drug that is known the raise my already high bp that would not address my uti.

Thoughtful, reviews file, note taker
You could tell she reviewed your file before she came in the room to see you. She was very thoughtful about what she was saying and even prior to saying it you could see the wheel spinning in her head. She took notes about my comments, so I definitely felt heard. I am enjoying being treated by her

Primary care Dr. Sent me due to Hep c results. Dr. Brown along with other Dr. said I would be given 3 rounds of vacation for Hep. B so long as I hadn't had Hep .B which I hadn't. I was seen by Dr Johnson Three time's total. first appt History,Second, first round of vaccination for H. B ., Second visit 2nd vaccination was never given 3rd. And mind you I was sent to Johnson for H.C. when I called the office to try and get appt for next visit I was told they didn't know who I was and they most definitely didn't treat blood infectious diseases mind you I was sent there for hep c I was never ever even talk to about it by Dr Johnson other than was told the medication was very expensive and most likely insurance wouldn't cover it so therefore she didn't even try to have it perscribed to me.

Everybody was courteous, kind, and helpful. Dr. Brown it's amazing, we need more doctors in Ft.Myers like her. I've never seen a doctor taking notes before and during appointments on a notebook so she can understand and explain better what's going on and how to proceed!

She took the time to listen, which is rare these days. Most doctors spend ten to fifteen minutes with a patient, Dr. Brown spent an hour of her time with me. She clearly explained my test results, condition, options, as well as both of our roles in my treatment and care. She was empathetic, enthusiastic, and genuine. I really could not have asked for a better doctor- she was fantastic!
