Didn't give a care about the pain I was in. He branded me as as someone who just wanted pain mess. Even though the first 5 surgeries I went thur I Weined my self off during rehab before I went home. And was glad to be off. He actually help me for 5 months. Till my 6th surgery which was horrible and left me paralyzed from the waste down. I got off the pain medication again drain and patient rehabilitation. I though I could make it but, the pain was ever increasing and horrible. So out of all my 12 doctors that were great this guy who talk more about his swim team than my problems mess my world up. Thanks D.o. Alm

WORST DOCTOR I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE. I have been in an accident where several things were hurting. During the exam he pulled my arm violently fast to one side that it hurt so bad I had to scream from pain, he did the same with my knee where he twisted lower leg and pulled it to one side . Same thing I had to scream loud out of pain. He did not even say sorry or anything like that. My knee and arm were worst for several weeks because of what he did. I told him about my neck pain, previous issue with the neck and explained that what helped in the past was an epidural in the neck, not physical therapy, anti inflammatory or anything else. He would not agree to an epidural, refused to do an MRI for my neck,and ordered physical therapy instead. While telling me I was late to hurry up. Physical therapy made things much worse, an MRI done with another doctor showed a benched neck nerve. So in addition to being rude, he was wrong and cause more damage pain and delay in recovery.

Dr. Alm is a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor.. He is very knowledgeable about sports medicine, back/spine/neck pain and treatment modalities. He helped me with severe back pain, and I am grateful to him and his great staff for their expertise. His explanations of conditions are easy to follow, and it is clear that he connects with his patients. I also appreciate his sense of humor, which can be very helpful when you are in pain and need a little levity around you. I would highly recommend him to family members and friends.
