ROBOTS
The doctor is RUDE. His first patient that morning. He's not a morning person. Disgusted with me because i did not have a disc he needed. Told him I was unaware of a disc. Said couldn't do anything without it proceeded to tell me how stupid I was...not in those exact words but made me feel just the same. I told him he had no right to speak to me that way and he walked out as did i.My insurance was billed, paid and I receive a balance bill. I call the office to say nothing was done. they said 'HE ALWAYS' does that procedure, to EVERYONE....so like robots they bill it....insurance pays it, because it is the NORM...whether needed or not, I suppose....well, I am not paying it. I got the insurance involved, they didn't care, just pay it. Record shows you were there on that day....YES!!! I was there but nothing was done!!!Office insist he did do it. This goes on for about a year..finally!! my little light turns on, 'okay, give me the results. Never got the results or another bill.

missed my cancer diagnosis due to his entitlement
Hello! I made an appointment with this person; I can't even call a doctor. My symptoms were pressure and hurting in my ears, nose, and throat, and a growth in my throat. He supposedly has a degree in otolaryngology. Instead of saying hello or introducing himself or even asking how I was doing that day: His initial question was, 'Who referred you here?' in a misdemeanor and annoyed voice. He made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. He did go through the appointment and assessed my symptoms and was very mad, as if I was wasting his time. Then he diagnosed me with nothing.I went home, and 5 months later, I had an annual physical appointment with my PCP. I expressed my concerns regarding my symptoms of ears, nose, and throat. I was then diagnosed with level 5 pailary carcinoma-thyroid Cancer. I have had a difficult 10 years. This person could have saved me but he opted to be non welocoming and did not take me seriously.

I’ve seen Dr. Austin twice now and am very pleased with the level of care and his professionalism. The Doctor is thorough, takes the time to explain things, and never appears rushed. Scheduling an appointment is easy and the wait time is short. I would definitely recommend Dr. Austin to anyone and will continue to see him for ENT issues.

I had the best experience with Dr. Austin who performed a balloon sinuplasty. The outcome was unbelievable as I went from daily runny nose to zero days. Both his style and technique produced no pain at all. He and his staff are to be commended and highly recommended. He and his staff followed up with phone calls post procedure. As a professional in the health care field, i was very impresses with his practice and caring manner.

I saw Dr. Austin for a deviated septum, persistent sinusitis and vertigo. I followed his recommended treatment which included a CT scan to diagnose my condition and then septoplasty and balloon sinuplasty. Both procedures went as Dr. Austin explained, there were no unexpected surprises, nor unexpected pain. I trust his experience and judgement and would recommend him to others, including my family.

In 2007 I went to Austin ENT interested in a hearing aide. During a new patient check Dr. Austin found a very bad cancer in my throat. He operated the next week and successfully removed the cancer. He and the staff also were very helpful during my post-op period. After chemo and radiation treatments I returned to Dr. Austin for periodic checkups that continue to this day. I give Dr. Austin 5 stars and recommend him highly to people I know.

Dr. Austin diagnosed my condition as squamous cell carcinoma - cancer of the throat and tongue base. This was after I had been to two other doctors who said I had an infection or sinus/allergy condition. I am truly blessed Dr. Austin is my ENT. He is thorough, friendly, and positive. His staff is cooperative and helpful. I have never had to wait more than ten minutes in more than fifteen appointments I have had during my treatments and follow up.
