Dr. John Beshai, MD

Dr. John Beshai is one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and just all-around great humans I have had the pleasure to work with. My primary Dr. was too busy to call in my blood pressure meds, she totally forgot! And my blood pressure had gone over 210! It was over a week-end and when we called Dr. John Beshai, he was right on it and called in a different medication because the one that would have been prescribed by my primary Dr. was a slow-acting medication. Dr. John Beshai basically saved my life! So grateful for him! I would definitely recommend him to anyone anywhere in the world!!

I was referred to Dr. Beshai by my cardiologist for atrial flutter. When I went in to see the doctor the first time, he was very abrupt and said I need a pacemaker immediately. If I didn't get a pacemaker I would be responsible for someone else's death when I passed out while driving. His scare tactics and horrible bedside manner made me leave the office immediately and search for another doctor. The other doctor had a more pleasant bedside manner and corrected my flutter with a catheter ablation. Although I have a low heart rate, no other doctor has recommended a pacemaker for me.

Ten years ago I had an AFIB ablation procedure at the University Of Chicago in which Dr. Beshai was the surgeon. Prior to this procedure I was in the emergency room monthly due to AFIB. Since the ablation I have not had an AFIB incident and consider that procedure a miracle in my life. Dr. Chiu, my cardiologist, whom I see on a regular basis, initially set me up with Dr. Beshai.

I can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Beshai and Maddie are! I'll never forget that first appt when Dr. Beshai held my hand while delivering the unsettling news of tachycardia and neurocardiogenic syncope. He reassured me I would still have a great quality of life and that is exactly what he has helped me to do!! My first cardiologist ignored my symptoms and I'm so thankful I found Dr. Beshai. I have to also give a shout out to Maddie, she is so kind and super efficient!! I highly recommend Dr. Beshai to any cardiac patient in need of care, you will be treated with respect and compassion!

I took a very dear friend, who is like family, to see Dr. Beshai as he was highly recommended by another highly regarded physician. When he came into the room I just knew my friend was in "good hands." Not only is Dr. Beshai an excellent physician but is compassionate, kind, understanding and was enormously helpful in totally unexpected ways. From the time we walked in until we left the entire staff was just wonderful. Deepest thanks and appreciation to you, Dr. Beshai, and everyone there.

Dr. Beshai is a amazing! I became a patient of Dr. Beshai in Oct 2021 after I had an ablation done by another local Doctor in June 2021 for SVT. I continued having symptoms. Dr. Beshai and I decided we should do the ablation again and make sure the SVT was completely gone. I can honestly say that it was a completely different experience this time. I healed so quickly and everything was smooth and easy. If you have heart related issues you honestly have to see him! He is truly amazing, Mattie and the entire staff too! I have recommended family friends to him and I would send anyone I know to see him! I hope I never need anything done like this again but if I do I know I have the best EP around!!!

Appreciate you Dr Beshai for your excellent professional medical care. You, Maddie and your entire staff are a pleasure to work with and much preferred to the large corporate clinics that prioritize profits over patient care. We have found that private practice physicians are the only ones to obtain first class service and personal attention and the best care and treatment available. He was there when I needed him the most!

I was referred to Dr. Beshai by Dr. Ramy Doss and could not have been more pleased. Both doctors worked with me in a comprehensive collaborative relationship. Dr. Beshai implanted my pacemaker in what seemed to be a seamless procedure and I received the best of care throughout the entire process. I continue to see Dr. Beshai for periodic check-ups and have always been more than pleased with the thoroughness, efficiency, and kindness I have received. I am a very grateful 85 year old patient who has been given a new lease on life!

Dr. Beshai is so professional, kind and caring. My condition was AFIB and he remedied it with Ablation surgery.. because I had a bad reaction to medication used to control AFIB we concurred that surgery was the answer. I have been AFIB free for almost 2 years now.. He is the best!

Dr. Beshai and Maddie are great communicators whether in person, virtual, patient portal, or phone. Also, I appreciate the promptness of responses and courteous style.

Dr. Beshai is a skilled physician who I highly recommend because he truly cares about his patients by never rushing the appointment and advising what is best. His good character is evident by his admirable service in the Air Force Reserve as a flight surgeon. His Medical Assistant, Maddie is so sweet and willing to help in any way. Appointments are always on time because it is not a large congested practice.

When I first called Dr. Beshai’s office I left a message with his service. I was shocked to personally receive a call back from Dr. Bashai. And that is when I knew he was the dr for me. I was terrified when I first went to see him. Maddie is amazing...sweet and efficient she made me feel comfortable immediately. Then Dr. Bashai was all I expected him to be. Very knowledgeable without any arrogance....he listened to me and understood my life situation at the time as I was dealing with a terminally ill brother. He showed empathy and compassion and assured me I would be ok. And ok I am. Dr. Bashai performed an ablation three months ago. I just had my follow up and am doing great. I cannot say enough wonderful things about how well run his office is thanks to Maddie. I called with questions a few times and Maddie called me back the same day with answers. Dr Bashai has a gift to heal. He also has a caring, gentle way of doctoring. I highly recommend him!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Beshai for the past 6 years. I had the option of working with multiple doctors through the Mayo clinic and Dr. Beshai was the best. He gave me excellent input on my afib condition and laid out all of the options. With a full understanding of my condition, I was able to understand where the treatment would lead based on how I was responding. Ultimately I required ablation that was performed by Dr. Beshai and now I'm symptom free.

Dr.Beshai has the expertise you need in Cardiology. His experience, communication skills and compassion for patients is superb. Few Docs explain the diagnosis and procedures any where near the level he achieves. His efficient process takes the pain out of getting treatment. Highly recomend DR. John Beshai. Dr . Beshai is one of the most caring thorough physicians I have ever seen . He really cares about his patients and spends plenty of time assessing and treating the patient . In this town most ep in my experience just do not give you the time of day . I highly recommend Dr Beshai .

Dr Beshai was able to meet with me for a second opinion and had the Medtronic Rep there to evaluate and help me to find a solution as well as helped to get with another doctor on a superset issue. Easy to talk with, very good at listening. Very helpful. Highly recommend
