My brother was a patient of Dr. Bracey after a gunshot wound to his hand. He was only a teaching mechanism for the hospital and not a person to them. After he asked if all the surgeries would save his hand they finally told him they would not, they amputated his hand and forearm and sent him home in a few hours like this was outpatient. He went home with a few days of a low dosage pain medicine and no antibiotics. He developed a bone infection and a blood clot. Dirty hospital/poor patient care.

I recently had to have hand surgery on both hands at UAMS for trauma to my hands. My surgery was in early March 2017. Dr. Bracey did my surgery, he did an outstanding job. In my opinion he is an excellent Doctor. He communicates well with his patients. He has great bedside and office visit manner and communicated both care and concern about the results/outcome of my surgery. I would highly recommend him to others.

This is the second time I have been to the UAMS Ortho clinic in about six months. The first time was to meet with a different physician but I waited over an hour and a half. Today, I was at the clinic for 2 hours and 25 minutes and had yet to see Dr. Bracey when I walked out. If I were to make my clients wait over two hours for a meeting, how many clients do you think I would have?
