Thank you from years ago!
I enthusiastically recommending Dr. Calcatera. He helped me several years ago and I have recommended him ever since. Dr. Calcatera was professional and friendly and also was interested in my thoughts concerning the minor surgery. Recently, someone asked for recommendations for a podiatrist and Dr. Calcatera was the first doctor I thought of who is caring and human and a great doctor. I will definitely seek his care any time I need a podiatrist.

Best Podiatrist in Birmingham Alabama
This Dr. Is by far one of the best physician’s I’ve ever met. He operated on my foot 30 yrs ago ( he’s only 30)and periodically I get hat pin fixation checked on my own and it has never given me any problems. This guy deserves a 1000 %. I have recommended so many people to him, I just gave his information as I sit in the nail salon. He’s has a lot of patience, he even called me a couple of days after surgery to check on me. He got on to me for walking to soon, we both chuckled about it. But I have never had a Doctor to call me personally and check on me, not his assistant. He Won me then. He definitely has a sense of humor. I seen him last year 2021 and I couldn’t believe he was still in practice. If you want the absolutely best care then He’s your guy(podiatrist)

Can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Calcatera and his staff are. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and went out of there way to take care of my foot emergency. Dr. Calcatera took time to explain how he was going to fix my problem and took great care of me pre and post surgery.

Dr. Calcatera is very kind and knows what he is doing. My foot pain is completely gone and I highly recommend him. The only negative thing is that the staff could be more professional and limit their personal conversations. It is a small office so easy to hear loud talkers.

Dr. Calcatera is very knowledgeable and clearly has patients' best interest in mind. He explained that he preferred to start treating my problem conservatively and didn't just immediately jump into suggesting surgery. My entire family has been treated by him and we trust his judgement and have been very pleased with our results at Brookwood Foot Care!

In and out no time to ask anything ,then nurse never called in medication ,called and they called in something no longer on the market ,now still waiting on meds
