When I first saw Dr. Callaghan, I had been told by two other surgeons tell me it was impossible for me to undergo hip replacement at age 55. Dr. Callagahan replaced BOTH hips at the same time, and completed the surgery in 4 hours and 20 minutes. My surgery was performed on March 29, 1996. I was in the hospital for 8 days, and back to work in 3 months. That was 21 years and 8 months ago, and I have had NO problems. In my book, Dr. Callaghan walks 10 feet tall!!!

Very dismissive of my husband and his condition spent no time seemed completely disorganized! We will be seeking a second opinion waited two months for this appointment. So disappointed don't waste your time! One of the worst experiences I've ever had!

The guy is the rock star of surgeons. In December of 2003 he told me he'd give me a "new life," and he was right. He replaced both hips and one knee and all are working find 14 years later. I've lost over fifty pounds and am averaging 11,000+ steps a day. He also saved my brother whose local surgeon bungled his knee. Dr. Callaghan got him up and working again.

I consulted with my internist for a second opinion on my hip pain and asked her if I could specifically make an appointment with John Callaghan. He saw me the following Friday and over the weekend, I made the decision to schedule the surgery. Keep in mind that other than being born in a hospital I have never had a surgery in my life and was very frightened regarding the surgery. Well, the rest is history - I am 1 year from surgery and am in spectacular shape! I am a super fan of JC!
